Archie Roybal, 42, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 3, 2010. He was born June 28, 1967, to Arcenio G. and Patsy E. Roybal. He was the owner of Roybal Construction/Welding for 15 years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone. His daughter, Brianna, was his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tillie & Luis Roybal (paternal), Antonia & Carlos Lucero (maternal), Aunt Albina Esquibel, Uncle Lalo Esquibel, Jr., Aunt Agnes Roybal, Aunt Luisita Roybal, Aunt Maggie Gutierrez, Aunt Lucinda Romero, cousins: Randy Roybal and Charles Rodarte.

He is survived by his parents Arcenio G. and Patsy E. Roybal, fiancee Maureen Santillanes, daughter Brianna Roybal, sister Patty Roybal (Wayne Cordova), sister Cathy Torres (Steve), brother Henry Roybal (Yolanda), mother-in-law, Adelina Santillanes, Sister-in-law, Lynette Santillanes, brother-in-law, Joseph Santillanes (Cathy), brother-in-law, Angelo Santillanes (Loretta), and Kenneth Roybal. Nephews and nieces, Brian Cordova, Julian Torres, Stephen William Torres, Julius Torres, Rachael Roybal, Roberta Lucero (Mario), Adrian Santillanes, Wyatt Lujan, Destenie Lujan, Kaitlyn Lujan, Eliana Santillanes, and Joerae Santillanes and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Rosary devotional services were conducted on Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father C. John Brasher as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santo Niņo Cemetery in Las Gallinas, New Mexico with the following serving as casket bearers: Manuel Pino, Manuel Baca, Ron Padilla, Dennis Rivera, Greg Martinez and Joseph Santillanes. Serving as honorary bearers: Steve Torres, Wayne Cordova, Kenneth Roybal, Brian Cordova, Angelo Santillanes, Adrian Santillanes, Julian Torres, Steven William Torres and Charles Gygox.
