Funeral services for Mrs. J. R. Caldwell of Austin, a former resident of Ennis, will be held at 10 a. m. Friday in the Keever Funeral Chapel in Ennis. Burial will be in Ennis' Myrtle Cemetery.

Mrs. Caldwell was a native of Caldwell, Burleson County, and had lived in Ennis for 45 years before moving to Austin 10 years ago. She was a member of Ennis' First Christian Church and the Woodmen Circle.

Survivors include a son, A. G. Caldwell of Dallas.

Are you sure that Josephine Rowland Caldwell is the daughter of Joseph C. Rowland and Martha Susan Thomas? Josephine was born in 1879, but is not listed with this family in the 1880 census. There is a Joseph, male, aged 2 listed. There are no parents listed in her death certificate. Martha is related to my husband and I have studied her pretty closely. Mary Hunter (#46911027)
