She was born in Washinton, Arkansas, on June 14, 1924 to James Russell and Willie Nannie Rowe. She was a Registered Nurse having worked at Julia Chester Hospital, Hempstead County Memorial Hospital and Medical Park Hospital for 36 Years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Washington, Ark.; member of the Eastern Star for 50+ yrs; Pioneer Washington Restoration Foundation; Washington Cemetery Board; Ark. State Nurses Assoc.; and the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Joe Booker; by two brothers, Claude Rowe and James Rowe; and by her son-in-law, Jeff Bell.
