Mrs. Edward (Mary Edna) Bradbury died unexpectedly at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday (today) at her home 141 Blake Street. She had been in poor health for several years as a result of emphysema.
Mrs. Bradbury was born August 18, 1904 in Salida. Her parents were the late Clarence and Lillian (Bigelow-Graham) Rout. She was a member of the 1923 graduating class of Salida High School and was affiliated with St. Joseph Church, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a past president of St. Joseph PTA and had been active in Democratic politics until her health failed. She and Mr. Bradbury recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
