Mrs. Mary Ann Conyers, 81, a life-long resident of Clinton County, died at her home in Kirklin sunday morning at 11:15 o'clock. She had been ill several years with cardiac asthma.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence here. The Rev. Joseph Warburton officiated and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Conyers was born in Clinton County December 5, 1847, a daughter of Josiah and Rebecca (Galbreath) Roush. She had lived in Kirklin continuously since January 29, 1882. She was a member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church.
The deceased was married to William H. Conyers on September 19, 1872. Besides the husband, she is survived by a son, Harry Conyers of Kirklin; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Miller of Bellingham, Washington; three grandchildren, Albert and Raymond Reed of Kirklin and Mrs. Vera Lusk of Bellingham, Washington; two great-grandchildren, Ernest Jr. and William Lusk of Bellingham, Washington; one half-brother, John W. Roush of Oaktown, Indiana; five half-sisters, Mrs. Nile Bates and Mrs. Frank Hawkins of Mechanicsburg, Mrs. William Mace and Mrs. George Franzier of Indianapolis and Mrs. Wayne Gwinn of Reelesville, Indiana.
