Her obituary in the Carroll Chronicle, Carrollton, Ohio, Friday, December 9, 1898.

The remains of Mrs. Harrison J. Roudebush arrived in Carrollton Tuesday noon, he demised having occurred Monday at the Central Ohio Hospital for the Insane. She had been a patient for about six months and her condition is said to have been distressing. Her reason became dethroned soon after the sudden death of her lamented husband in the prime of life. Three children survive, one daughter and two sons. Interment at Mt. Olive Wednesday.

Her obituary in the Carroll Free Press, Carrollton, Ohio, Wednesday, November 30, 1898.

Mrs. Harrison Roudebush, nee Crawford, departed this life on Monday afternoon, November 28, 1898, at the Columbus State Hospital. Her grief, from the sudden death of her husband, brought on brain trouble, from which she never fully recovered, although every effort known to medical science was used by her relatives. She was about 40 years of age, the mother of three children, who, with her mother, one brother and four sisters, survive her in sorrow. A Christian woman and a faithful member of the Disciple Church. Her sister, Mrs. J. V. Roudebush, was at her bedside several days, and when she left her sick sister seemed much better; but a sudden relapse snapped the silver cord and she is no more. A woman of fine appearance for length of days, of middle age, surrounded by husband, children, mother, sisters, brother and kind relatives, with all that comfort demands, but alas! how sudden the flowers of life are dashed to death and the tomb. Her remains brought home and interred at Mt. Olivet to-day.
