Margaret married Jonathan Rothrock (1802-1852) on 10 Nov 1831 at Brick Church, Giles County, Tennessee. Jonathan and Margaret were the parents of seven known children, four boys and three girls, and 17 known grandchildren. Six of the seven children lived to maturity (the seventh being Margaret Elizabeth Rothrock, b. 19 Feb 1845 and died in infancy before 1850). Neither of the two daughters who lived to maturity married. All four of the boys married and three of them had children.

Thursday April 7, 1892:
Margaret A. Rothrock died at her home near Brick Church, this county, on last Friday, April 1, 1892. Mrs. Rothrock was aged 80 years. She was the mother of one daughter and four sons: Mr. G. M. Rothrock, of Pulaski, Dr. R. G. Rothrock, of Nashville, Rev. Thos. Rothrock of Trenton, W. A Rothrock of Brick Church and Miss Mattie Rothrock, of Trenton, all of whom survive her.

Gravesite Details
Her stone is off base, cracked thru the center and placed upright for this photo by Wayne Austin. She is buried next to her husband under an old cedar tree.
