Alfred Conrad Rothrock was the fifth of six known children of Jacob William Rothrock (1852-1922) and Sarah Conrad (1848-1930 (or 1939?)), who married in 1874 in presumably Pennsylvania.
Alfred married Julia Carolyn Duck (went by Carolyn, surname sometimes seen as Duke) (1886-1919) at an unknown date and location. Alfred and Carolyn were the parents of four known children, namely:
1. Charles Forrest Rothrock (1911-1967)
2. John Alfred Rothrock (1913-1990)
3. Earl Franklin Rothrock (1915-1987)
4. Edythe L. Rothrock Pullano (1917-1993).
After Carolyn died the children lived with various relatives to be raised. In 1920 Alfred and his four children were living with Alfred's parents. In 1942 Alfred listed his nearest contact as his son, John. Alfred was a riveter with Baldwin Locomotive.
