Mrs. Dente was born in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late William Frederick and Grace Katherine Roth. She is also predeceased by her first husband, Rhame A. Guyton, Sr. and second husband, Joseph E. Dente. Mrs. Dente was an avid golfer, enjoyed dining with her supper club, and was a active member of Marion Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her sons, Rhame Arnold Guyton, Jr. (Susan W)., of Marion, William Frederick "Bill" Guyton (Janet L.) of Elgin, SC, and Carl Bryan Guyton of Florence, SC; daughter, Evelyn Katherine "Lynn" Stuart of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Lois Smith (Al) of Loganville, GA; granddaughter, Alexis Evelyn Stuart of Myrtle Beach, SC; 8 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, children of the late Dr. Eugene and Eloise Guyton of Florence, SC.
