on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014. She passed peacefully in her home with her
husband Edward by her side.
She was born to the late Albert and Rita Rossi, January 20, 1948, in
Boston, MA. Joanne graduated from Bedford High School in 1967. She
married Edward Kozlowsky in 1970, and embarked on an adventure that
moved them all over New England before finally settling in Sanford, ME.
Joanne was a talented quilter, a dead-eye with a rifle, a culinary
artiste of galumpkis and ham gravy, and the architect of one very large
frozen igloo.
She loved horses and dogs, of which she had many in her lifetime. She
also loved camping with her husband and taking long rides in the car
with him to nowhere in particular. She deeply loved her family and her
husband, but most of all, the Lord, with whom she now resides in perfect
glory.
She will always be remembered as a tough woman, a loving mother and a
devoted wife, and will be missed by all.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Edward Kozlowsky; and her two
children: David Kozlowsky, of Windham, ME and Kristina Smith, of
Sanford, ME. She also is survived by her brother, David Rossi of
Marblehead, MA and two grandchildren.
Flowers may be sent to the home at 337 Mount Hope Rd, Sanford, ME

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18th at
