Santina "Sandy" (Rossi) Adams, 81, of Cicero, passed away Sunday at The Heritage, Loretto. She was born in Syracuse and was employed as an Accounting Clerk with Blue Cross Blue Shield, retiring in 1992. Sandy loved cooking, baking and spending the holidays with her family, especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Adams in 1993, her daughter, Diana Adams, sisters, Jenny Lizzio and Anna Adams and her brother, Anthony Rossi. Sandy is survived by her three children, Linda (Thomas) Murphy of Cicero, Robin (Ken) Lester of Cincinnati, OH and Thomas (Karen) Adams of Cicero; five grandchildren, Thomas John Adams, Kenny Lester, Nicole Adams, Meghan Lester and Sean Lester; step-granddaughter, Lauren Murphy; step-great-granddaughter, Taylor Starowicz; two sisters, Grace (Leonard) Antonio of Fairmount and Patricia (John) Wall of Syracuse along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the , 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
