Pamela Kay Army
Pamela Kay Army, 57, Logansport, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, in her residence following a lengthy but courageous battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 28, 1952, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Richard E. Ross Sr. and Violet Titus Ross. On Feb. 11, 1989, in Logansport, she was married to Terry Army, who survives.
A homemaker, Pamela had previously worked at S.U.S. Diecast and TM Morris for more than 17 years.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, John Yocum and his wife Dorie, and Justin Army, both of Logansport; four daughters, Renee Bricker and her husband John, Warsaw, Tiffney Army, North Vernon, Asa Roberts and her husband Brent, Warsaw, and Kris Day and her husband Eric, Peru; three brothers, Richard E. Ross Jr. and his wife Wannetta, Mike A. Ross Sr. and his wife Teresa, all of Logansport, and Jeff D. Ross, Peru; three sisters, Kathy Delaney and her husband John, and Mary "Jane" Nichols and her husband Rick, all of Logansport, and Terri Lantz and her husband Lloyd of Lake Cicott; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph A. Yocum and Walter Riley Yocum.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Scott Ellison officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday in the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of America or the Guardian Angel Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
