Adalene Alexander, 81, of Cloverdale, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Putnam County Hospital.
Born on Dec. 22, 1926 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Walter and Lena Ross. She married Robert Alexander on July 23, 1947, and he preceded her in death.
She was a seamstress and a member of Fillmore Christian Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by two daughters, Karon Gaddis and husband Jay, and Vicki Parker; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debra Semlinger and a son-in-law.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Donald L. Pearson Mortuary, in Cloverdale, with Pastor John Nees officiating. Burial will be at Cloverdale Cemetery.
