Mary C. Ross, 73, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Reverends David Self and Clyde Evans will officiate.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Verbena, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Henderson Courtney and Iva Frances Rowell. She was a member of the Houston Heights Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher for the young adults couples, single adults, and VBS and nursery teacher. Mrs. Ross was a retired civil service employee from Robins Air Force Base after 34 years of service and was an avid Scrabble player. Mrs. Ross was a loving and caring person and her favorite Bible scripture was 1 John 4:8 “ …God is Love”.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith A Ross, sisters, Frances Oliver, and Jeanette Sherrell.
In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, American Heart Association, and the Parkinson’s Foundation.
