Buster Ross, 85, of Hartshorne, died Saturday at Midwest City.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Sulphur Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Keith officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Born January 4, 1911 in Holdenville, he was the son of John and Ivie Hice Ross. He had lived most of his life in Hartshorne and married Leona Baxter on May 11, 1936. He had worked in construction most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Leona Ross of Hartshorne; nine sons, Sidney Ross of Wilburton, Elmer Ross of Waynoka, Gordon Ross of Hoyt, Tommy Ross of Hartshorne, Charles Ross of Roff, Henry Ross of Moorland, Marshall Ross of Oklahoma City, Clinton Ross of Hartshorne and Carl Ross of Del City. Also four daughters, Ivey Milner of Oklahoma City, Linda Lovelace of Midwest City, Wanda Holmes of Verhale, Utah and Brenda James of Hartshorne; a brother Sidney Ross, Tipton, California; 65 grandchildren and 80 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Junior James Ross; two brothers, Marshall and Clifton Ross and three sisters, Mary Suiter, Oley Barnes and May Mooneyham.
