Death: Dec. 22, 1955

Carrie Isabelle Ross was my Aunt. She loved going to school but unfortunately only got to the 8th grade and had to stay home to help work on her parents farm. She married 1st
Delphie E. Triplett in July 1924 in Howard Co.,Ar. They later divorced. After her divorce, she went back to high
school to get her diploma, then went on to S. Eastern State Teachers College in Oklahoma. She taught for many years in
the Dierks area, McNab and in Hope, Arkansas. She had no
children but her students loved her dearly. She made all her own hats and most of her clothes. She could arrange flowers like nobody's business..she did all kinds of crafts.
She married 2nd Dalton Ben Dragoo in April 1942. Uncle
Dalton worked for the Railroad. We kids always loved him and we were fascinated because he smoked a pipe. She was
so talented, very involved in her church, and a good friend to so many. We miss her very much.

I think of you often! One of my grand-daughters is named after you. You were so talented; could make anything from hats to flower arrangements. I like to think I inherited some of your talent. Still have the afghan you made for our family in about 1950. Y...(Read more)
