Mrs. Emma Peppler Rossi of Aurora died Sunday, July 24, 1988, at Aurora Presbyterian Hospital.
Private family services will be Thursday.
She was born in Fort Collins, on Sept. 12, 1911. She married Ernest Richard Rossie on Dec 27, 1934, in Kimball, Nebraska.
She attended the University of Northern Colorado and Colorado State University and graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in teaching.
She taught elementary school for 28 years. She taught first, second and third grades and was a specialist in reading.
She was a nominee for Teacher of the Year while teaching in Denver.
She was a member of University Park Methodist Church in Denver and a former member of St Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Marilyn Minors of Greeley; a son, Richard Rossi of Monte Rio, California; two sisters, Irene Geist of Holyoke and Esther Rodenberger of Fort Collins; and five grandchildren.
