ADELL "SISTER" ROSENSTEIN MORRIS, 91, of Atlanta died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007.

Graveside services were held Dec. 18 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rabbi Neil Sandler officiating.

Born Jan. 26,1916, Mrs. Morris was a lifelong Atlantan and attended Atlanta public schools.

At 19, she married Jake Morris. They worked together at Morris Bros. Luggage, which he founded in 1930. She was widowed in 1976.

Mrs. Morris was active in Ahavath Achim Synagogue, where she was a lifelong member. She was involved in the synagogue's Girl Scout program; co-founded the Ahavath Achim Book Shop, which became the Sisterhood gift shop; was a Sisterhood officer; was involved in the building of the synagogue facility in Buckhead; and supervised religious school when it was held at Henry Grady High School. In later years she was a member of the synagogue's hospital visitation committee, and she was a life member of the Jewish Home Auxiliary.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Mildred and Martin Kwatinetz; grandchildren and their spouses Neil and Dorothy Kwatinetz of Pikesville, Md., and Phyllis and Mitchell Abrams of Roswell; sister-in-law Anita Morris; and great-grandchildren Jack, Sydney and Katie Kwatinetz and Rachel and Jacob Abrams.
