Dail Rose, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather, passed away surrounded by his family April 30, 2002. He was 81 years old.
He was born August 5, 1920 in Ogden, Utah, to Albert and Hannah Labelle Rose. He was married to Lenore C. Christensen for 69 years. Dail served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Dail was an avid outdoorsman, a master gunsmith and loved photography.
He retired from Browning Arms in 1987.
He is survived by his wife Lenore, four children, Mike Rose, Colleen Rowley Julie Allen, Jeff Rose, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. A viewing will be held at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Friday from 12:00 to 1:45 p,m, prior to services.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses on the high observation floor at McKay Dee Hospital.
