Sandra "Sandy" Rose, 69, of Evansville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at her home. She was born April 17, 1943, in Eldorado, IL.
She retired from Atlas Van Lines after 35 years of service and was a member of Restitution Church of God in Eldorado, IL. She enjoyed bowling.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Rose.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Melissa) Rose of Newburgh and Darren Rose of Evansville; grandchildren, Brittney Berlin and Brittney, Christopher and Adrian Hicks; five great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Bill) Brown of St. Charles, MO; brother, Carlis (Pearl) Medley of Evansville; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Anna Pitchers of Petersburg, IN.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Brian J. Atra, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
