Goodfield - Alice Marie Braman, age 63, of Goodfield, Illinois formerly of Gibson City, Illinois passed away at 2:53 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on September 20, 1948 in Gibson City, Illinois a daughter of Ted and Ethel Ropp Ulfers. She married Roger Braman on April 5, 1969 in Gibson City, Illinois. He survives.
Alice worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital for 10 years and then worked for Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge in Morton, Illinois.
She was an avid quilter and also enjoyed sewing and cross stitching.
Also surviving are two sons, Greg (Rachel) Braman of Roanoke, Illinois; Matt (Amy) Braman of Eureka, Illinois; two sisters, Leona (Bob) Wells of Germantown Hills, Illinois; Carol (Doug) Maxwell of Beaverton, Oregon; and five grandchildren; Brooke, Luke, Holly, Grace, and Colin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Eureka Bible Church. Rev. Tom Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-8 pm at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 9-9:45 am before the service at the church. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery.
