Geraldine Ann (Roof) Killian, 71, died at 3:38 AM Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. The daughter of the late John and Betty Roof, she was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Lafayette, where she was a lifelong area resident. She married Thomas Killian on Nov. 23, 1970; he survives.

Mrs. Killian was a member of Boswell United Methodist Church. She was a life-long member of Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3318 of Attica, a 17-year member of American Legion Post 492 Ladies Auxiliary, and a 16-year member of Women of the Moose Chapter 796 of Lafayette. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Surviving with her husband are two sons, Paul E. Lucas, Jr. (wife Sandy) of Delphi and Donald J. Lucas (wife Pamela) of Lafayette; three daughters, Vickie D. Rivers (husband Benjamin) of Lafayette, Jane E. Stiles (husband David) of Monticello, and Lea E. Kiefer (husband Stan) of Pine Village; a sister, Louise Stevens of Chicago; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Jimmy; three daughters, Jerilyn, Judy Jo, and Katherine Ann; a sister, Betty Jean Rhode; and a brother, Jim Roof. Service Oct. 15, Hippensteel Funeral Home; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
