John Ruben Romero, age 78, devoted husband, father and grandfather, was called home by our Heavenly Father on May 18, 2005 at his home in Albuquerque.
John was born in Dixon, NM on November 19, 1926.
John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pauline, his children, Nelson Romero and his wife, Mona, Diana Chávez and her husband, Edward and Carmen Murdoch. John will be truly missed by his eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his sons, Ruben, Alex and David and daughter, Mary Martha.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fidencio Pérez, Ray Pérez, Billy Cata, Michael Serna, Joe García and Tony Córdova.
