Edwin L.Roman, 85, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 20 years, died peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2007. Ed was born June 2, 1921 the son of Edwin F. and Alice Berguerre Roman in East Orange, NJ. Edwin attended Purdue University and then joined the Aviation cadets, where he served in The Army Air Corps. He is a veteran of World War Two, and retired from TWA after 38 years as a pilot. Ed was a member of the Chamisa Hills County Club, an avid golfer, bridge, and poker player. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin; mother, Alice; and brother, George. Ed is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy; four sons, Edwin, Michael, Robert, and Kenny; and one daughter, Bonnie; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and dear friends; and by his cherished great nephew Andrew Kowalski; and his two loving cats, Princess Leah and Luke Skywalker. The Visitation for Ed will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services at Vista Verde, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, 4407 Menual Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Arrangements by Daniels Family Funeral Services 4310 Sara Rd.
