Jennie Leona Taylor Rogers was born September 20, 1921 in Johnson City, Tennessee. She passed away February 28, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Harrison Taylor, mother, Lela Ramsey Taylor, and husband, Frank E. Rogers.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she left behind. She is survived by brothers, Captain USN (Ret) Thaddeus M. (Nancy) Taylor, and The Reverend Dr. B. Harrison (Ramona) Taylor II; children, David Taylor Rogers, Anne (Les) Rogers Blevins, and John Frederick Rogers; grandchildren, Matthew Brooks, Mary Brooks, Ryan Rogers and Kristina Rogers.
A celebration of life will be held in her home on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 200 P.M. to 400 P.M. Call 881-0978 for directions. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity International, 121 Habitat Street, Americus, GA. 31709-3498.
