Edith worked in numerous medical positions in Indianapolis and California.
Edith was a loving and giving wife, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Edith fulfilled her life's destiny and made all the right decisions according to what she felt was right. She will be remembered for her charismatic charm and genuine kindness.
Mrs. Edith Ann Allen departed this life early Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the age of fifty-nine years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister; and one niece.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Robert; three sons, Michael Rogers, Jamal Allen and Jason Allen; two grandsons, Jamal Jr. and Jayden; a daughter-in-law, Twee; a brother-in-law, Thomas Edward Allen; two sisters Jacqueline Hassell and Diane Whitney; nieces, Jujuana Buggs and Malinda Whitney; nephews, David Wright, Juan Leaks, Dwight Whitney, Daniel Rogers and Bryan Rogers and a host of other relatives and friends.
