Mrs. Lucinda F. Meyers, 74, Denver, Colo., formerly of Hollidaysburg, died Monday evening, Sept. 30, 1996, in Denver.
She was born Oct. 12,1921, in East Freedom, the daughter of Pastor George W. and Elma (Brumbaugh) Rogers. She married Victor H. Meyers Nov. 21,1950.
Mrs. Meyers was a charter member of the Leamersville Grace Brethren Church, which was founded by her father in 1936. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Mount Tipton Community Church, Dolan Springs, Ariz.
She enjoyed her work as a pastor's wife, pianist and teacher in child evangelism, and in a Christian elemental-)' school.
Mrs. Meyers was a 1939 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a 1950 graduate of Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Ind.
In most recent years, Mrs. Meyers spent many hours in genealogical research and writings, and published several books.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Dennis of southern California; two daughters: Pamela Varos and Nancy Faltermeier of Denver; two brothers: Pastor Victor of Dolan Springs and Pastor Ellis of Milton, Fla.; a sister, Kathern Lingenfelter of East Freedom; and nine grandchildren.
