Elsa grew up in Crystal Springs, TX where she worked at her grandmother's bakery until graduating from Crystal Springs High School in 1969. Moving to Tacoma in 1972, Elsa started working for US West (now Qwest) for 29 years where she made many friends. Elsa's love of traveling took her all over the world.

Preceded in death by her father, Carlos Longoria.
