Zelphia passed away Friday, April 10, 2009, in Park Ridge, Ill. She was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Ripley, Miss., to Edward and Anne Spencer Rogers. Zelphia married John Kelley, Dec. 15, 1941. During WWII, she worked on building B-29 bombers. Her greatest joy was to care for her family.
She was a loving, faithful wife to husband John, and a loving mother to her three children Robert, Kenneth, and Beatrice. She was grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. Zelphia was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters; two children; and one grandchild.
