A Tribute to Our Grandparents Martha L. (Rogers) Krieger and Harry J. Krieger - Today would have been their 76th Wedding Anniversary. On 1/1/2008 they celebrated their first 75 years of wedded life together. In July of '08, our grandmother, MaMa, had her 94th birthday and 10 days later our grandfather, PaPa, turned 100. In August, still living at home, MaMa died peacefully in her sleep while PaPa held her hand. 10 days later, PaPa also died at home in his sleep. We, their 5 grandchildren, have so many memories of them, so much love for them, and so much to thank them for. Their 12 great-grandchildren didn't get much time with them but will always love and remember them, too. (Published in The Commercial Appeal on 1/1/2009)
