Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker, and had worked at the former Brown Rubber Co. and had been a custodian for the Lafayette School Corp. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1154 Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed traveling and dancing.
Surviving are a son, Henry L. Smith of Syracuse; a daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Bruce) Smith Campbell of Greenfield; two brothers, Ben Marsh of Montmorenci and James Marsh of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Smith Bass; and a son, James Smith.
