Waynesville—Laura Faye Hedrick age 82 passed away June 10th, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was born to the late Nathan and Laura Bell Hoxit Rogers on July 3rd, 1926 in Haywood County. She retired from Lea Industries after many years of faithful service.

In death she rejoins her parents, her brother Lenwood Rogers, two sisters Mildred Letterman and Wilma Blankenship.

She is survived by her two sisters in law Ruth Rogers and Elizabeth Johnson, one brother Joe Bob Rogers and his wife Ora Lee Rogers. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. Special friends Barb Messer and Wally and Ruth Knight, a great neighbor Patricia Myer and a very special dog Sugar Baby.

Services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Garrett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Philip Wyatt will officiate. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery.
