Maggie Charline Boydstun, 74, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left this earth to go to her heavenly home on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, after a lengthy illness with a lung condition.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville. Interment: Valley View Cemetery in Valley View. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
Charline was born April 25, 1935, in Southmayde to Charlie and Thelma Roeder. She graduated from high school in Valley View in 1952. She then married the love of her life, Glenn Boydstun, on Nov. 8, 1952. Glenn and Charline owned B&M Machine Co. in Hurst for over 20 years. She enjoyed working at the business in the early years. Together they had many successful ventures.
Charline was a special and talented lady with the determination to accomplish whatever goals she set. She took great pride in her home and loved her family deeply. Her family and friends will miss her love and caring words of advice. She gave for the sake of giving and never expected anything but love in return. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Charline was a devoted member of Harvest Baptist Church in Watauga.
She was preceded in death by her only son, Robin Wayne Boydstun.
Survivors: Her faithful husband, Glenn Boydstun; her daughters, Glenda, wife of Alan Moak, Angela, wife of Mike Albee, and Teresa Moffitt; her grandchildren, Stephen Moak, Courtney Moffitt, Christopher Boydstun and Madison Albee; and her great-grandchildren, Darby Moak and Layney Rushing.
