OBITUARY: The Bremen Enquirer, 20 Mar 1941, Pages 1 and 5. Downloaded 14 Jan 2007. MRS. JENNIE ANTHONY. Mrs. Jennie Anthony, eighty-six years old, died Monday afternoon at her home six miles north of Bremen. [CONTINUED ON PAGE 5, COL. 5.] She was a daughter of Adam and Anna (Long) Roeder and was born October 22, 1854. In 1872 she was united in marriage with John Anthony, who preceded her in death.
Surviving relatives are seven sons, Charles Anthony, of Plymouth, Frank Anthony of Elkhart, Cornelius and Philip Anthony of Wyatt, Oliver Anthony of Terre Haute, Floyd Anthony of South Bend and Reuben Anthony at home; one daughter, Mrs. Maude Huston of Charlotte, Mich.; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Woodland, Rev. A. Schlifke, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery nearby.
