Sarah Melinda Stinson
Abington, Ind., June 18 - Funeral services for Sarah Melinda Stinson, 84
years old, who died at her home in Abington Friday morning, will be held Sunday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church here with Rev. H. A. Broadwell in
charge. Interment will be made in the Abington cemetery.
With the exception of an infant, she is the first of the Stinson family to
succumb. She was a member of the Methodist church at Woods' Chapel.
Surviving are three daughters, Dora, at home, Mrs. Quincy Meek of Bethel and
Mrs. Frank Hunt of Chester; one son, Lester, at home; seven grandchildren and
two great grandchildren; five brothers, Bennet Rodenburg of Kansas, Martin
Rodenburg of Pershing, John and Will Rodenburg of Centerville and Willard
Rodenburg of Brownsville; six sisters, Mrs. Barbara Swallow of Abington, Miss
Laura Rodenburg at home and Miss Anna Stinson, Miss Mary Rodenburg, Mrs. Ellen
Brown and Mrs. Ollie Lambert, all of Centerville.
