Brownsville. - Charles M. Rodenberg, 86, R.R. 1, Brownsville, died Friday morning at Reid Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born Dec. 11, 1903, in Wayne Co, and was a lifelong resident of the Philomath area. He was a retired farmer, and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Emma Soper Rodenberg.
Also surviving are one son, Charles Rodenberg of Richmond; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nephews, Walter R. Rodenburg, Robert E. Rodenburg, and Paul E. Rodenburg, all of Brownsville.
Services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mills Funeral Home in Centerville, with the Rev. Bud Parrish, minister of the Abington Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Abington Cemetery in Abington.
Friends may call Monday from 3 to 7 p.m., at Mills Funeral Home.
