YATSKY - Frances M., 82, South Fork, died Aug. 10, 2011, at home. Born Sept. 20, 1928, in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, daughter of Lewis Asbury and Margaret May (Taylor) Roddy. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George Yatsky, who died July 27, 1972; stepmother, Mary Margaret (Wilt) Roddy; grandsons, Jason and Robert Yatsky; brothers, Ronald, Kenny and Tom Roddy; and sisters, Darlene Goodwin and Sarah E. Brewer. Survived by children, Francis Daniel, married to Karen Killinger, South Fork; George "Geeg," married to Nancy Ohler, Dunlo; Harry Paul, married to Susan Killinger, South Fork; John Thomas, married to Dr. Susan Goldblatt, Pottstown; Elizabeth "Sue," South Fork; Michael Lewis, married to Lori Penrod, South Fork; and Mark Stephen, South Fork; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred, wife of Jim Cooper, Salix; brother, Don, married to Nancy Pump, Freemont, Ohio; godchildren, Barry Chernicky, Portage; and Nancy Yatsky, Dunlo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances was an in-home caregiver for the Office of Aging for quite a few years. Member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, South Fork, and South Fork Women's Club. She was well-known for her bread and pastries and enjoyed playing Pinochle. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where Parastas will be sung at 6 p.m. Friday. A brief service will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, celebrant, Rev. Father James Spontak. Committal, St. Mary's Cemetery, New Germany.
