Doris loved to read the classics and couldn't put a book down once she opened the cover! She was a woman who loved fashion and had great style. Doris could tell you the names of all the old Hollywood stars and give a list of each of their productions. She was a walking marketing agent for Turner Classic Movies as she loved watching, but mostly it was the nostalgia and memories she loved of times gone by that came with enjoying those old films. Doris loved the beauty of the nature surrounding the beloved lake home she and her husband build for their family to enjoy. Their home, where she took her last breath surrounded by her family, was one filled with a loving family who always respected each other and was a welcoming place to all of their many friends. Mostly, Doris loved being a wife and mother and grandmother. She participated lovingly in every aspect of her families life until the very end, and we have no doubt that she will continue to participate as our greatest intercessor in Heaven.
