Pamela Jean Akers, age 55, of New Castle passed away Thursday, February 2, 2011 at the Henry County Hospital.
She was born May 14, 1955 in New Castle, IN the daughter of Howard "Bud" and Shirley (West) Robinson. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and having fun with family. She always had a big smile and loved her rose bush.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Akers; mother, Shirley; son, Jericho (Bonny) Ford; daughter, Amy Dean all of New Castle; two sisters, Becky Estes of New Castle and Michelle (Scott) Barnett of MI; grandchildren: Tasha Dunn, Trey Akers, Denim and Dallas Ford all of New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard "Bud" Robinson and brother, Danny Robinson.
Services will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m - 12 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday.
