Charles Robinson, 74, died Monday evening at 6:30pm at his home, 1608 Schuyler Avenue, following an illness of five years duration.
Born May 1, 1861, in Burlington IL, he as the son of Cole and Elizabeth Robinson. He married Miss Maggie Schwint on November 16, 1893, and had been a resident of Lafayette for 40 years. For 18 years he was a boilermaker's helper at the Monon shops and was a member of local No. 360. Surviving, besides Mrs. Robinson, are two daughters, Mrs. Henry Reuzenar and Mrs. Frank Cowgill, of Lafayette; a son, William G. Robinson, of Lafayette; two half sisters, Mrs. Lee Rodgers, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Fred Collins, of Elgin IL, and two half brothers, Harry Robinson of Milwaukee, and Frank Robinson, of Robbinsdale MN.
