Mrs. Ethel R, Elliott, 94 of RD #1 died Thursday in Sacred heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born in Miller Mines, April 22. 1892 she was the daughter of the late Joseph G and Drucilla (Foote) Elliott, ( This was a mistake on the part of the newspaper, should have read Robertson) Her husband Richard N. Elliott died in 1954. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Elliott the oldest member of the Midland Grace Methodist Church was a member of United Methodist Woman, and Martha Washington Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edith M. Jeffries, Midland, Mrs. Wilma E. Ponder.Hagerstown, six grandchildren and several neices and nephews
Friends will be received in the Eickhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home. Lonaconing, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 11 A.M. in the Midland United Methodist Church by the Rev, John Baugher and the Rev. Louis Emerick. Internment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 A.M.
