MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Patsy L. "Pat" Dilts, 61, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at her home.
Services will be at New Hope United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Parrott will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ron Corder, Brian Alloway, Scot Robertson, Dennis Inman, Mike Lamp, and Lloyd Whitlow. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine.
Visitation is at Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Memorials may be made to the church.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1938, in Muscatine, the daughter of Earl B. and Verla M. Chapman Robertson.
She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church of Muscatine where she was the church organist, pianist and the choir director.
She played the organ for many services at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home.
She worked at Muscatine School District in the food service and was a cashier.
She was a member of the Iowa Food Service.
She was a Hospice volunteer in Muscatine as well as group facilitator for the Muscatine Chapter of The Compassionate Friends.
She was a beautician and owned a shop in the earlier years.
She was head cook in food service at McKinley School where she was fondly known as the lunch lady.
Survivors include sons, Mark Simpson and his wife Teena, of Aurora, Colo., and Terry Simpson and his wife Robin of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Jamie Bohling, Lindsay Alloway, Brian Alloway Jr. Kristin Simpson, Tyle Simpson, Cameron Simpson, Cameron Simpson, Meghan Simpson, Barry Major, Brianna Alloway, and Madison Alloway; and her mother, Verla Robertson of Muscatine; and a brother, Larry Robertson and his wife Ruth, of Brooklyn.
Her father, and a daughter, Karla Alloway, preceded her in death.
