AIKEN, S.C. - Completed life's journey and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 23, 2008, Ms. Mildred (Roberts) Baggott-Clarke-Clerc of Aiken, S. C., widow of the late Ed Clerc and daughter of the late Otis Roberts and the late Gertrude Gay Roberts. She is survived by a son, Wade (Jean) Baggott, Jr. of Graniteville; and a daughter, Joy B. (Carl) Silas of Warrenville; stepchildren, Ken (Linda) Clarke and David Clerc both of Aiken and David Clarke of Augusta, Ga., Beth Miller of Missouri and Deidre Tice of Aiken; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was born in Matthews, Georgia but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was retired from Bath Division of United Merchants. She was a dedicated member of Warrenville United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Graniteville Leisure Club, Spares and Pairs, Rainbow Club, Daughters of Confederate and was a former President of the Widows and Widowers Club. She loved to travel and enjoyed playing solitaire. She also enjoyed visiting the lake. She was a loving and caring person who loved people. You could definitely say she lived a "good life", and she will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. The funeral service will be conducted today, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Watson and Rev. Steven Phillips officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be grandsons. Memorials may be made, in Mrs. Clerc's honor, to Warrenville United Methodist Church, P. O.
