Mary Belle Arbaugh, a Grove resident passed away at Grand Lake Villa on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the age of ninety-eight.
She was born on Christmas day in 1913 in Rich Mountain Arkansas to Frank and Almer (Gentry) Roberts.
She worked at a hospital for over fifteen years in Stockton, California, she loved sewing and was a great seamstress and made the girls wedding dresses, she also enjoyed quilting, but, most of all her family that spanned six generations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William M. Arbaugh and two children Bonnie Yeager and William Arbaugh.
Survivors include her son Charles Arbaugh and his wife Marilyn of McAlister, Oklahoma, her daughters Betty Hurd and her husband R.G. of Grove, Joyce Hernandez of Grove, Elsie Richardson and her husband Harvey of Cassel, California, her son in law Jim Yeager along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
Graveside services for Mary will be on Monday July 16, 2012 at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami with Reverend Rick Thomas officiating. Interment is under the direction of the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairland.
