Mrs. Baker was born June 11, 1944, and is the daughter of William Russell and Helen R. Myers Roberts. They preceded her in death.
She married Edward Wayne Baker on July 20, 1963, and he survives.
She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1962.
Mrs. Baker taught at the Community Christian Academy School in Brown County for more than 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, her family and the children she taught.
She was a member of the Cloverdale House of Prayer in Cloverdale and the Way of Holiness Church in Brown County.
Survivors include: two daughters, Cinthia S. Arney of Rockville and Amber D. Baker of Brown County; a son, Morgan D. Baker of Burlington, North Carolina; one brother, Guy Roberts of Brownsburg; one aunt, Grace Patterson of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; nine grandchildren, Jarod, Jordan, Mindi, Jake, Eric, Zachary, Rebekka, Adam and Ashley; one great-granddaughter, Marina; several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Services were Tuesday, April, 15, at the Way of Holiness Church in Brown County. Officiating were the reverends Leon Baker, Eugene Baker, Eugene Baker Jr. and Robert Stultz. Burial was at Unity Church Cemetery.
Meredith-Clark Funeral Home handled arrangements.
