Elizabeth Rose Bader, went to be with the Lord Tuesday morning at Muncie Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Three Rivers, MI, the daughter of Fred and Rosa (Boyer) Roberts, graduated from high school in Payne, OH, and moved to Muncie in 1938.
Mrs. Bader was employed at Stillman's Department Store several years ago. She was a member of Women of the Moose #712 and several euchre clubs.
Surviving are five daughters, Nancy Quinn (husband-Frank), Lawrenceville, NJ, Gloria Nigh (husband-Gary), Muncie, Marsha Michael (husband-Ronald), Muncie, Charlene Guinn (husband-Dean), Muncie, and Linda Bader, Muncie; her daughter-in-law, Ramona Bader, Muncie; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Gauer (husband-John), Ft. Wayne; a brother, James Roberts (wife-Tona), Antwerp, OH; two sisters-in-law, Pat Roberts, Vandalia, OH, and Helen Roberts, Mt. Pleasant, MI; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jean Hays, Indianapolis, and Vaughn Phelps, Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Nelson Todd Bader; her son, Robert Bader; three brothers, and three sisters.
Services will be held in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, at 1 p.m. on Friday with her nephew, Rev. William Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 11:30 a.m. on Friday until time of service.
