Eileen was a woman whose morals, determination, independence, and warm heart were impressed upon all those who knew and loved her. She valued hard work, respect, and gratitude. Always willing to help one in need, she grew to be a mother for so many young people whose lives she had lovingly touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her five children (Jessica Steins, Lola Salas, Rory Bechtel, Michael Bechtel and Joshua Bechtel) and five grandchildren (Sean Adams, Lisa Adams, Logan Steins, Sarina Sanchez, and Tristan Salas).
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, the ninth of April, six p.m., service at seven p.m. at KC Funeral Directors, 4880 Shawnee Drive, KCK 66106. The burial ceremony will be held the following morning eleven a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, 2301 South 34th Street, KCK 66106.
