Our loving mother, Beverly Dean Roberts, 82, passed peacefully at the home of her daughter in Ivins surrounded by her daughters Patsy and Debbie, son Ren and daughter-in-law Connie on February 5, 2009 of natural causes.
Beverly was born on Nov. 1, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Charles Franklin and Isabelle Mills (Henfrey) Cummings. She married James Elijah Lamb. Together they had 5 children. Later divorced. She later married June Ray Roberts of Tabiona.
She was a kind and loving mother who enjoyed a simple country life in Tabiona. Beverly and June later moved to the warmth of Southern Utah. June passed away in 2004.
She is survived by her children; James Lamb, St. George; Ren (Connie) Lamb, Roosevelt;
Jerry (Kary) Lamb, St. George; Patsy (Robert) Casper, Tabiona and Debbie (Pete) Field, Ivins; brothers, Earl Cummings, Albuquerque, NM; Charles Cummings, Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband , June Ray Roberts, father and mother, brother Wayne, sisters Annabelle and Gloria and 1 great grandson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Tabiona Chapel. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to funeral service. Interment will be in the Tabiona Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221
