Mrs. Beulah Mae Hinton, age 77, died Monday, October 6, 1997 at her home in Cloverport, KY. She was born September 26, 1920 in Breckinridge County, Ky. Mrs. Hinton retired from the General Electric plant at Tell City, IN and was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church. A daughter, Geraldine Clark, preceded her in death in l940.
Mrs. Hinton is survived by her husband, Virgil Hinton; a son, Ellis R. Clark (Barbara), Richmond, VA; a step-daughter, Saundra Bishop, Owensboro, KY; two sisters, Alice Ray Allen, Cloverport, KY and Mildred Leathem (Clyde), Owensboro, KY; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 9 at the Cloverport Baptist Church with the Revs. Darryl Crenshaw and Truman Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Cloverport Cemetery under the direction of Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport.
