Her husband, Army Sgt. Peter Mack, died in 1987. Her son, Rev. Russell Roberts, died years ago.
She was born in Norfolk, Va., daughter of George A. and Mattie (Brooks) Roberts, and later lived in Worcester. She lived many years in Washington.
Many years ago, Mrs. Mack was a reporter for the Amsterdam (N.Y.) News and the Washington Afro-American Newspaper. She was also a dressmaker and designer.
Mrs. Mack was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in W.W. Chambers Co., 517 11th St. S.E. Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
